2025 91µ¼º½ Action Grants

Students working together on a beach. Algalita Marine Research and Education

91µ¼º½ is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 91µ¼º½ Action Grants. Through this program, the Society is driving meaningful change and growth—whether by expanding access to 91µ¼º½ education, supporting rigorous scientific research and nurturing the next generation of scientific leaders. The program aims to bolster and support mission-driven nonprofit organizations that are working to increase scientific understanding by expanding opportunities for their local communities to engage and participate in 91µ¼º½.

This year, $275,000 will be awarded across 57 organizations, representing 25 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. Funding for this year’s 91µ¼º½ Action Grants program comes from The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, Regeneron and Simons Foundation. Since its launch in 2016, the Society has awarded $1.42 million in 91µ¼º½ Action Grants to 167 impactful organizations across the nation.
